The 'Safe Supervision in Practice' component of the Safety Futures Safety Leadership for Supervisors and Managers program provides participants with skills in: - Learning how to create psychological safety to harness diversity and create shared responsibility for safety. - Clarifying accountability and authority while aligning roles and goals to engage teams in collaborative planning. - Balancing task focus and situational awareness by using training, mentoring and coaching to improve the safety of work. - Engaging the team in after action debriefs so that learning leads to actions that drive continuous improvement.
